Team India will have a training session on Tuesday evening and both Dhawan and Iyer are set to be a part of that session.

Shikhar Dhawan took to his Instagram handle and shared a video in which he can be seen lip-syncing a famous dialogue from Allu Arjun's Pushpa. Sharing the video, he wrote, "Gabbar [holding hands emoji] Pushpa (sic)." Allu Arjun replied to Dhawan's post and wrote, "Hello Gabbar," with a bunch of fire emojis.

Dhawan had captained India in the limited overs series in Sri Lanka in July but hasn't been included in the T20 World Cup squad.

Shikhar and Ayesha had got engaged way back in 2009, but Dhawan postponed the wedding by three years as he wanted to cement his place in the Indian team before taking the plunge.

Dhawan revealed that India had the option of not playing the remaining two games after losing nine players to COVID-19 related isolation but they chose the difficult route of playing with only five specialist batsmen.

It was also Dhawan's first golden duck in his 68-match T20I career, fifth in his T20 career, and third in his overall international career. 

With most of the power-hitters in isolation after Krunal Pandya's COVID-19 positive case, India could manage only 132 for 5 on a slow track.

On a personal note, Dhawan knows that even he is auditioning for a place in the T20 World Cup side.
